I love when our non all star, bench players, and role players realize “Oh snap, i can really show what I’m capable of today” and they start actually trying and put in work. You never see this cause usually Steph takes over. Especially in forth. Man our future is so bright at gsw with poole leading us. Take your time and recover Steph. We got this 🤭😎

@Joni J It’s basketball. 901, Memphis, ALL DAY, every day. And yeah, we’re going to CONTINUE to tell people what is capable of being achieved. Y’all easily forget that in “grit and grind,” those losses are seen differently, especially when these guys just keep realizing to play MEMPHIS basketball. If a player buck, we buckin’ back. It’s that simple. Trust and believe, y’all got it! We love it! 💪🏾✔️🎖

34 games played and we’re not even a 500 team, 3 -16 away record, ouch. Still on our home court without Wigs and Steph we’ve beat the Celtics and Grizzlies handily. It’s a strange season so far but I have hope these DUBS will be there at the end!

No Curry, no Wiggins and Poole ejected at 4th quarter and still manage to win the game with complete healthy Grizzlies! What a night for warriors fan!

This was definitely one of our best home wins next to the Celtics finals rematch. Hopefully this 8-piece homestand can have a affect on the development process if they’re serious about the season (P.S. ik Wiseman ain’t score this game but 5 rebounds from him in 8 minutes is definitely part of his improvement and he actually played against Memphis for the first time in his career this game which was hella overdue lol) 💪🏾

@murahk123 nah it’s not if you think about it. It’s normal for him to still have up and down moments it’s part of his development. Everybody know he got scoring abilities. But he’s tryin’ at least now to improve a lot more than he did in the beginning of the season on defense more and building some confidence despite how high Dub Nation’s expectations is for this dude. Dude can’t play like Dwight overnight lol trust me rebounding is something Wise needed to do this game, and his contributing on the rebounding resulted in Warriors bein’ able to outrebound Memphis by I think 7 rebounds.

Love how DiVincenzo played today. Very efficient and not afraid to take open shots. Other guys off the bench also shot well, Lamb, Jerome, Moody. What the Warriors need though is a lockdown defense specialist like GP2 from last season against a guy like Morant, especially in the post-season.

The score says fans know nothing about the game. The score says they have what they need. The score says GSW won

Draymond Green will be a better player once he realizes what a bad ref he is.

    • oughts sought says:

Last year Poole’s game and the bench in general got much better during the extended late season stretch when Curry was out. Same thing happened in Memphis when Morant missed 25 games and rest of team went 20-5. As long as the NBA season is for the teams that reach the finals, I think it actually benefits a genuine contender to have the team MVPs each miss some time; the benefits being (1) much improved cohesion + confidence for bench players who get much more playing time where they are expected to do far more than just support the team stars +(2) fresher legs lat in the season for the stars who missed significant time.
Usually that benefit is greater when stars miss games later than early, but in this case, as new as the Warriors bench players are to the team, each other, and the system, they clearly needed to get a lot better fast, and having Curry and Wiggins out supplies an opportunity to have a lot more court time when the team is depending on them to make plays together.
