The cast will probably get more attention for how well they embody The Crew, but the show’s crew, specifically the production designers, deserve a huge pat on the back for how good this looks.

Nunca habrá una adaptación con 100% de aceptación. Siempre habrá crítica constructiva y destructiva.
Sólo sé que One Piece es lo mejor de lo mejor y apoyo este proyecto 😎🤗👌

With how little is actually shown i will say 2 things, the imagery itself looks pretty damn solid and I think they made a great choice for zoro.

    • I'll Destroy U if U Come At Me! says:

lol no. It looks too dark and gloomy. Just like Disney remakes.

    • V0LDY says:

The sets and the CGI objectively look like crap, are the positive comments bots or what? I’m puzzled.

    • Vic says:

You know what other live action looked pretty damn good …. cowboy bebop until it wasn’t 😂

    • DoubleJMusic says:

i don’t feel the actor for luffy was a good fit

    • Brazen says:

@I’ll Destroy U if U Come At Me! the entire trailer was very bright and unlike other anime live actions the characters still act like over the top cartoons how is this like a disney remake?

  5. Vash says:

  6. Ronaldo Everton says:

I hope Netflix has the budget to make the rest of the 1 thousand episodes of the anime

      @Unknown ???

    • braydoncm says:

The episodes are gonna be compounded with each one being equal to about a lot of anime episodes

    • Starliz says:

They are going to cover the most important events only. If it gets to season 2.

    • CoolBoss999 says:

They are compounding a lot of episodes into 1 episode for the season. Cause animes often stretch out episodes which can make it boring.

  7. Hanzen says:

I’m not 100% sure if I like it but for some reason the trailer really gives me such a big smile on my face.

  8. Keily Lee • Nude Yoga says:

This is definitely one of the hardest stories to adapt in live action because of how creative and imagination based it is so i’m curious to see how this ends up

  9. Edward Morow says:

I think it’s incredible and better than expected.
The CGI is awesome, the Sea King looks awesome and absolutely intimidating.

    • Zappa Boi says:

I think the cg for luffy’s gum gum attacks could use a little more work.

    • Cartoon Cat says:

@Zappa Boi Yeah It Looks A Little Funny I Wheezed When Luffy Strecthed His Arm It Kinda Looks Like The Same Budget As The Mask But The Mask Has A Bit Better CGI

    • Matt says:

CGI is honestly pretty bad other than the Sea King, particularly the CGI ships. The fact they’re using physical ships as well makes the difference even more visible.

  10. Akina Kasaiyachi says:

It looks way better than everything I could have imagined. There might be a chance this one gonna come out well. The sets look truly amazing , as well as the characters. Humor and fights are going to be crucial to tell if it’s great or not of course ; but one other thing that gotta be essential to me are the emotions carried by the characters. Each OP character has such a strong and deep story. I believe you can showcase that quite well in a live movie and I hope it will. Let’s see!
