I got Shining Pearl and it’s going to be my first Sinnoh playthrough. Really looking forward to it. Also, Sinnoh has my favorite set of starters, so I will need to play through a few times

Also I hope he decides someday to get a Budew instead of Roselia. I’ll be honest, in Platinum I never had issues with it 🙂 both because it does not SUCK like Azurill (used in White2…) and you can battle with it without even the friendship boosting items.
Mikey never uses the baby pokemon, that’s why he struggles with them.

you can get mew and jirachi without transfering
you need to go to the town with two old people on the bottom left and talk to the left one to get mew and talk to the right one to get jirachi so ye

What I like about the BDSP artstyle(?) is that it feels more like a 3D Pokemon game because in the main world the characters are smol and are normal sized in the battle like in the old games!
After stumbling on this channel a few months back, I thoroughly started enjoying the content. This is the channel I have picked to watch a brilliant diamond/shining pearl walkthrough.
I feel that pain as I’ve been soft resetting the game since release trying to get the right nature for my Chimchar (took me about two days and ended up with a Hasty nature with ‘Alert to sounds!’ characteristic). Truly is the most frustrating aspect of Pokémon games besides shiny hunting of course.
