So glad to see my favorite boy Tails being treated with kindness. His sheer joy throughout the entire video gave my shriveled soul some much needed warmth.
his little invention to locate the emeralds is also from various sonic media too! its shown up in the comics from what ive seen and i just love attention to details like these
I was expecting much more blatant disregard for life and unnecessary comic violence, but was pleasantly surprised the little smoll was treated like the good friend he is
They’re definitely getting invited to Kirbo’s next christmas dinner (Eggman too, Kirbo’s still kind enough for that)

I absolutely love how unlike a lot of Sonic 2 parodies, Sonic and Tails actually feel like they’re brothers with each other
The fact that Terminal took the time to animate Eggy throwing *every member* of the Mecha Sonic line at Super Sonic instead of just Mk. 1 says a LOT about how much he commits to the bit, what a madlad.
Okay, Sonic and Tails may be the most wholesome dynamic I’ve ever seen in a TerminalMontage cartoon.

I’m just gonna say it the tales radar is so well designed the way it splits into two tails when it opens. It’s just such good attention to detail.
If you didn’t know, it’s a reference to the same radar from the IDW comics. Specifically, the 30th Anniversary special. Pretty cool, ain’t it?
Can we appreciate how good the VA for Eggman is? Their intonations and cadences with their voice was truly spot on
Right?! I thought at first the voice was ripped from one of the shows
It’s like a cross between Long John Baldry and Mike Pollock. And it’s PERFECT.
Sometimes I realized that it was a voice actor and not some clips from Long John Baldry.
I can’t help but only hear him as Bison from the movie.
Which was made the whole thing probably more hilariouser than it would have been.

Daniel Gavin is doing God’s work as Eggman in these videos. TM’s stuff is already hilarious but Eggman is so hammy that it turns it up to 11. “Enjoy the Totino’s pizza rolls, Sonic!” is literally one of the best things I’ve ever heard Robotnik say.
I love the way Tails was represented in this animation as a genuinely helpful sidekick who Sonic appreciated! ❤
This isn”t just a good, funny video, it’s a legitimately very good, funny cartoon. Like, this’d work with any sort of characters. The timings are on point. Laugh out loud funny. I love this. This might be the best one yet. Excellent work!
