God, I so badly want this game to succeed, more people need to experience this absolute gem and the graphic and sound upgrades make this the perfect opportunity. And if this does well, who knows, something might even come of it.
A sequel between Nintendo and SE could be really interesting, specially if they keep the variations on Mario enemies.

Man, moments like this make life great! One of the greatest game to be brought back again. I had huge tears when I first saw this trailer. Maybe now Nintendo and Square Enix can make a sequel if this game does really well!

I was only eight when the original was released on the SNES. My cousin and I played through it together. One of our all time favorite games and to say we popped off is a MASSIVE understatement. Also the fact that Yoko Shinomura just confirmed she is in fact recomposing the soundtrack is amazing. I can’t wait!!!
Well done, a trailer genuinely brought tears to my eyes. This game played a huge role in shaping my tastes, and I’ve been waiting for Nintendo to touch this again for so long. If any single game was my childhood, this was it.
This was my first RPG to ever play back when I was 9 in 1996 and I loved Geno. For years I had hoped he would come to Smash but so glad he’s back in this way too.
Maybe now he can get in the next game.
This game will introduce him to a new generation. So there is still hope.
I’ve always though Mallow was the true MVP. That dude is hilarious.
