I think Izzy threw something like 100+ punches that completely MISSED. You don’t throw 100 punches by mid-fight if you’re moving slowly. Strickland was just rolling his shoulders like a true striker, head movement and defense was next level and Izzy got more and more frustrated. The “moving slowly” defense is just making excuses for a loss. He wasn’t prepared to fight a brilliant counter-striker and tactician.

Im so happy for Strickland. I work construction and everyone on my crew including myself love this guy, he says wild shit that keeps us laughing and cheering for him. Hopefully he doesn’t lose the belt his first defense.
gotta ask why everyone think he gonna lose first out? i just beat what y’all thought was the second coming of silva. he’s only lost a handful of times and his win loss record is not much diff than izzys.
Sean is one of the hard-core fighters, straight warriors in the cage and that makes him very likeable. We know we’re going to get a good fight from the likes of Sean, Max, Justin, and Dustin. Always love to see it.
