They were NOT expecting her to win this race at ALL. I am so happy for her. She is literally the definition of its not how you start, but it is how you finish! GO SHA’CARRI!!!!

  2. B Chuck says:

I’m smiling so big for her right now. I was on the plane when this came across my feed and cheered so loud everyone wanted to see the race. She is amazing and will dominate track and field for years to come. So proud of her

  3. Kimo Williams says:

She slayed that race!!!! SOOOO PROUD OF Sha’Carri! 🏃🏾‍♀️🔥♥️

  4. Dre Ruffin says:

She is truly the definition of an underdog. Seeing the shock and excitement after she realized she won was so emotional. She did it for herself. She proved to herself and her country she belonged where she is.. and she DOES. She’s been through so much with her “scandal” The world and her own country turned on her but she proved herself and the whole world wrong. We’re proud of you Sha’Carri.

    • Paula Cross says:

Those that turned their backs on her need to keep that same energy, never knock a person when they’re down, pray for them, prayer changes things.

    • Dwight's kitchen229 says:

The USA didn’t turn on her. She simply broke the anti doping rules by smoking marijuana

    • Obehi Okojie says:

@Dwight’s kitchen229: Yeah, people fall and will have to bear the consequences of their actions. However, when they are on that journey, they should be helped, prayed for, and supported. I read many demeaning statements about her. What was thrown at her was capable of derailing her self discovery and recovery, but she did not let that happen. She fought for herself and here she is today – a world champion.

    • Chasatie Johnson says:

I literally shed tears for her! So proud of you Sha’Carri

    • Gregory Weaver says:

@Dwight’s kitchen229 yes they did, they still bring it up now in her story.

  5. Briana C says:

  6. Joseph White says:

This is my girl!… I never lost faith in her through all her challenges. She will be the one to break Flo Jo’s record of 10.49. She is my favorite sprinter and she has closed every haters mouth today but more importantly, as she has said, she has confirmed what she always knew in her heart, out of her mouth that she is the BEST IN THE WORLD! HALLELUJAH TO THE LAMB OF GOD!. WE CELEBRATE WITH YOU MY FRIEND!..AMEN..SELAH!

  7. AFCNinja says:

She worked really hard to get this bounce back and become world champ. She’s earned my respect

  8. Ash2theB says:

I literally cried. I have been watching here since Tokyo qualifiers and I so upset when didn’t get to go because of everything going on in her personal life was affecting her out on to the track. But she did it….Congrats girl you finally did it 🎉🎉🎉.
