As a person who goes barefoot around their house I feel like you guys did a major oversight in not testing no socks.
Another oversight is doing socks then one sock for both participants in both tests. Matt even stated that he’d learned from his mistakes on the stairs, which would indicate he had a technical advantage over his previous runs. Should have had Steph do 2 sock/1sock and Matt do 1 sock/2 sock and/or have them do an additional run with the first condition

The imagery of Mat and/or Steph barrelling up the stairs to get to Ollie is just too charming for words.
This may be far-fetched, but Mat’s habit of removing one sock, usually the left, might’ve caused his left foot to adapt and heat itself up more than the other. If they tried it both ways, they could prove or disprove this.
I hate socks, sleeves, and prefer shorts over pants, have always been that way because they make me feel restricted and I’ve noticed especially in recent years that I’m naturally warmer than family members who, growing up, were taught to dress for the season not neccessarily the weather.

Honestly, I am feeling a lot of wholesome energy coming from Steph and Mat. They are the perfect couple NGL. Their conversation with each other is just wholesome. Like two peas in a pod. :3
This is genuinely a so much more fun video than normal with having steph participate in the V/O. I love their relationship dynamic, they’re so fun
