Alfa Romeo + Dodge = Master reliability

    • Shahzeb Nasir says:

Alfa isn’t too bad anymore honestly! But I do want more people to continue believing they’re unreliable so that we can pickup used Quadrifoglios for cheap 😂😂😂 keep telling people they’re break! You’re doing Gods work

      Two negatives cancel out lol

    • Patrick walker says:

Didn’t another YouTube channel have one of these and it broke down instantly…

    • divios1 says:

Saying it twice doesn’t make it true😊

  2. BurstingVeins1 says:

Every time James says “And I’m James” it feels like Thomas is the dad and James is the excited kid getting to drive his first sweet car.🤣

  3. James Min says:

Every time Dodge comes out with a new small vehicle, people are hopeful. But then realiity sets after year 2, and we all know this will share fate with Caliber and Dart. RIP Hornet.

    • Air-headed Aviator says:

Not entirely fair, since those two buckets were rushed into production by government mandate after a massive corporate bail out. They never would’ve had a chance to be good

    • Kevin Waring says:

I have a 2015 Dart that I drive an hour to and from work five days a week.. they were supposed to have come with 9-speed automatic transmissions, I often wonder how much better it would be if it wasn’t rushed to production. It is a good car that could have been better with time, not unlike any other thing in this world

    • joe fries says:

yeah almost everything dodge has been shit quality, among the worst in the world for the price. They also have been known to depreciate in value faster than almost any other make. So will be interesting to see what happens now

    • Alex P says:

Right? There’s value and money in cutting costs, using cheap materials, and not investing in reliability. Sometimes, a company needs to do this. But when it’s the whole business model forever, people lose trust and the company loses money. There’s no reason to trust this or buy this unless you’re okay with having catastrophic issues year 2.

    • Alan Daniel Saucedo says:

The dart should of been called the neon, it wouldn’t have saved it but maybe it would of had a stronger start.

  4. Yissi Biiyte says:

It’s a good little “normal” car. People forget Dodge have ALWAYS made regular cars and not everything needs to be a Hellcat

    • Dr. Spatula says:

This is their new neon, which they’ve always had in some capacity. However! Everything, including this, does in fact need to be a hellcat. Supercharged v8 and all

    • TermlessGHM says:

TFL did a roller slip test on one of these and it completely shut down. It basically panicked and got back into the whom…

    • TimDatMan says:

I’ve been literally yelling this at people on IG LOL

    • Yissi Biiyte says:

@TermlessGHM okay so it sucks off-road. I’m sure crossover buyers are going to be devastated by that

    • sameer mohideen says:

@Yissi Biiyte Considering the current market, I’ve seen Raptors, Broncos and Wranglers relegated to being on grocery store and school run duties. Some of them have never even gone slightly off road, just parking lot queens.

  5. Mihir Sunkara says:

You guys consistently nail these videos and make my day so much better

  6. Caffeinated DaVinci says:

Let’s not forget that during the offroad test that The Fast Lane Car did, the Hornet completely broke and had to be sent back to the dealer for repairs. Brand new, straight from the factory, had barely been driven. And they weren’t beating on it, just doing low RPM roller grip tests. Stellantis products are totally reliable

  7. Maxime Parent says:

I test drove a base model Hornet, and it had the hardest seats i’ve ever seated on. Literally hard has a wood plank. I guess they’re not the same seats has the upper trims.

    • Joshua McGarity says:

The GT is the base model

    • Maxime Parent says:

@Joshua McGarity well, the “base” GT then. It had 17 inch silver wheels with little brakes.

    • Bear Mcleod says:

We’re they almost like hard plastic? I’ve encountered those in some newer Jeeps I’ve ridden in. I assumed it was for the intended “outdoorsy” audience to easily clean mud and debris. No clue why they’d be in this though.

  8. Wendys Tacos says:

The reliability probably sucks, but dang this is a good value proposition

    • I'm Not Using My Real Name says:

Look at the Jeeps with the 2.0L Turbo. It’s the same engine. The concerns are likely way overblown.

  9. No Ad says:

Looks ok but if someone switched out the logo to a Mitsubishi Logo, I’d have believed that, too.

    • Eoin Kenny says:

I was just trying to figure out what 90s Jap car the dodge styling department used for their homework.

It looks like an old base lancer that someone threw a hatchback on and put stilts under it

    • The Godfrey Special says:

THANK YOU I was thinking the same thing. This is what Mitsubishi should have evolved into instead of their hideous current design direction.

    • OfficialHoneZtAbe says:

I thought it was a Mitsubishi at first with the 2 red lines

    • océan Zu says:

Mitsubishi shares its platform with jeep compass, and Jeep shares its platform with alpha, and alpha shares its platform with dodge. I thinks we are back to a full circle

    • ObsidianSquadGaming says:

@Eoin Kenny dodge stealing designs? We gonna ignore that Ford, Toyota and Gm and Honda just to name a few. Completely stole the front bumper from the charger and taillights from dodge? Dodge is usually the first company to come up with a well designed car then the other companies copy and paste. 19+ camaro and Honda accord = front end of the charger. Fords and Lincoln and Toyota stole the taillights on a few cars. That’s what all companies do they copy what’s being successful. Dodge is very popular so they copy them

  10. Random Hilarities says:

the worst part of this video is that it ends
