It’s nice to have a remake of Pinocchio but I’m also curious of how they are going to remake the full song for “When you wish upon a star”

Saying “from the studio who brought you the 2019 Lion King” isn’t something to brag about, but at the same time this does look great.

As Pinocchio being my favorite Disney character and growing up with him, this looks promising and I’m glad to see him in Live Action. Hope they don’t mess it up.

  4. Mr. Thumbs Up says:

I know we’re all tired of these Disney remakes, but focusing on the positive, I’m glad to see that this live action adaptation is going for a more “cartoony” feel. Jiminy Cricket, the fox, and Pinocchio so far still look very similar to their original looks, unlike the “realistic” designs The Lion King, Lady and the Tramp, and The Jungle Book remakes have given us.

This is exactly what happens when you buy into false notions like “racial equity”.

It’s a TEASER, the purpose is not to show you things so much as to whet your appetitite. I think the Chip and Dale Rewcue Rangers teaser confused people on how teaser trailers actually work. Look back at Incredibles teaser, Toy Story 4’s teaser, and various others.

    • Sean A says:

      Hence why it’s a teaser

    • SlackX says:

      That’s why it’s called a teaser trailer….

    • Nouk Y says:

Yeah right? I was wainting like “show me at least a glimpse of Pinocchio animated in CGI” but nope
      We’ll have to wait

That “When you wish upon a star” immediately gave me the chills, Im excited to see this

  8. DRM says:

Oh my gosh.. idk why but this whole trailer has got me super excited! It gave me chills too. I am so happy that they so far have all the characters from the original movie and I was a bit worried that it wasn’t. However the only problem is that I wish this came out in theaters and it is only coming out in Disney Plus.

  9. Genevieve Welch says:

Oohhhhh my gosh I love Tom Hanks! This looks like it’s going to be great! I remember watching the original Disney Pinocchio on VHS lol, so I am definitely excited to see this. 👍

Interested to see how Disney will squander the talents of this cast and the potential of this IP. I imagine this will land a little above the Lionsgate attempt, but well below Del Toro’s.
