Nut looks so incredibly lost about 85% of the time. Like he doesn’t know what is happening or who he is but he’s just happy to be there. It’s genuinely hilarious.

Let’s just make Nut a permanent channel member. Cody and Nut have great chemistry.

im honestly impressed these dads know this much about their daughters

    • Fukai Kokoro says:

Same as someone whos dad would promise to do stuff with me then leave me waiting on the steps all day.. it feels weird seeing good relationships.

    • Chidi says:

@Fukai Kokoro 100%. My dad lowkey checked out years ago despite him still being “in my life.” Now, he retired in a diff country, so he’s no longer living in the house. It’s wild. I’m genuinely happy for people – especially women/girls – who have great relationships with their dad. But at the same time, it makes me sad because I wish I had that with my dad. Ah well.

    • Grace Shanley says:

@Chiditry and keep in touch w him as much as you can, even if you guys have a somewhat strained relationship. I’m 19 and my dad passed away about 4 months ago, we were incredibly close. This is kind of taking it to the extreme, but you truly never know what will happen. Wishing you and your dad all the best <3

    • Funky Yuki says:

@Chidi same, my dad moved to a different country a couple years ago and he doesn’t call. Before he moved, I could tell he didn’t really care about anything and wasn’t very happy. You aren’t alone in what you are feeling. ❤

    • Esme Salazar says:

@Funky Yuki @chidi5534 exactly my case. i feel seeeennnn

I love Nut’s commitment to showing up in these videos in the exact same outfits he wears in the Cut videos , he’s like a cartoon character

  5. Merc III says:

Cop: “Have you ever been in trouble before?”
Nut: “…we all know 9/11 right?”
    I screamed. 😂😭💀

  6. Jon Joyce says:

It actually broke my heart seeing John’s face at the end. He was really bummed it didn’t work out.

  7. Louise Cooper says:

It’s crazy how Nut and Cody seem like they’ve been friends forever

Fun Fact: Ludwig and Nut were college roommates!! Nut was on The Yard talking about it (Lud’s Podcast)

    • Dvdmovie says:

Ikr. Cody is like his cooler older friend

  8. Tristan Lyons says:

I’m sorry, but if I was behind that curtain when Nut busted out the 9/11 joke I would’ve laughed so loud

  9. lillian nemeth says:

I was noticing that all of the women in the video seemed to coincidentally have such self-confidence and mature energy. It’s so interesting how fathers choosing to be supportive, kind, caring, and present in their daughters lives often creates healthy, confident girls. I love to see it!

    • Alexis Mercer says:

That is basically said for anyone who has pretty decent parents or 1 pretty good parent. My bf was raised by a single mother and i too was raised by a single mother and we owe everything to them. Its just down to a good parent

    • Ella Baier says:

      Wish I had that

    • Fallen4theFallen2 says:

Yeah, having well rounded parents definitely gives you a leg up in life lmao couldn’t be me 😂😂

    • Sarah Perkins says:

Not me silently struggling with an untreated case of major depressive disorder all through out my school years with two sets of straight cis parents and straight cis step parents.

    • Alex D says:

I’m not trying to take anything away from these dads – I’m sure they put in a lot of effort to maintain a healthy relationship with their daughters – but I don’t think the average middle class household is represented here. I think these are pretty wealthy and privileged families, and a lot of money just makes parenting a tad bit easier. Just something to keep in mind, especially for “ordinary” parents who watch this video and mirror their situation to the ones shown here.

I love Cody’s earnestness and gullibility next to Nut’s deadpan sarcasm
