Guy always goes back for seconds, I’ve seen him eat several full meals in one sitting because the food was so good… He took two bites of that mess and was out. Anyone who’s ever seen more than two episodes of Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, knows that was Guys way of telling us to avoid that restaurant at all cost 😅 lol

And that’s saying something, that dude will eat anything 🤣 jaboody dubs has made several videos on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, it’s absolutely hilarious, I’m gonna have to go back and rewatch it all now lol

@Rob Schellinger I have seen him do that to, but usually on his other shows. Maybe he thought there was no saving that dish. Honestly I thought the dish had promise, I like some weird Asian fusion, and I know Uncle Roger can be a little critical. But they put so much ketchup in there, and table sugar, then drowned it in condiments. Plus he put what looked like shredded iceberg lettuce in the wok, that had to have been slimy mush by time it hit the plate. They could’ve at least used romaine, or even better shredded cabbage. But we all have different taste, so who am I say it isn’t appetizing?

I agree. After looking at this again, I don’t think Guy Fieri liked it either but he loves promoting small businesses. He said the flavors “sync” … what does that mean? He commented on the atmosphere, not the food at the end.
TBH is is more of a cheeseburger dirty rice than a fried rice. Dirty rice is a Louisiana thing, a way to use up leftover ground meat & veg.

It looks like it was doing well. Most people rated it high and praised the taste.
Its just a bacon cheeseburger without the bun ground up with white rice.
As much as people make fun of Guy Fieri for being fake or over the top, apparently he’s really like this and is a really nice guy.
His only crime… is following his life’s passion. Seriously, that guy is so much more wholesome than people give him credit for.
If you’ve been following him for long enough, you’ve found out some other things.
He came to a restaurant in Portland and I spoke to the waitress who worked there later on, since I found out about the restaurant on Diners, drive ins & Dives. She let me know he WAS really nice, but only to men. For some reason he was really short and rude with every single female at the restaurant and they didn’t want him to come back again. Luckily his model is to just visit once lol
I love when Liz comes on – she gives Uncle Roger a run for his money. Lol
That was funny as hell. Uncle Roger and Auntie Liz are always a good comedic combo.
