Day 1 – Here | MOVE – A 30 Day Yoga Journey

Day 1 – Here | MOVE – A 30 Day Yoga Journey

Meet yourself here.

The hardest part will be getting here. It won’t be any pose or bind. The hardest part will be arriving for your daily practice. So let that be named.

It’s day one, and this practice invites you to come as you are.

We show up as an individual, but together we can make big moves.

Be patient.

Small gestures, make big waves.

The journey starts here, right NOW.

There’s very little you can do alone that makes you feel less lonely than yoga with Adriene. True as ever. Can’t wait.

    Happy new year everyone ❤️✨

If you just did this class and thought there is no way I can do this for 30 days – YES YOU CAN! I thought the same thing when I did my first 30 day Yoga with Adrienne challenge in the summer of 2018. It was not easy but I fell in love with yoga and have not stopped since. I begin my yoga teacher training in February this year and I am so excited! Thank you Adriene for being my original teacher. Namaste x

Thank you, Adrienne, for providing this program free to everyone around the world. Having lived in multiple countries the past 4 years, I understand the difficulty of time/location. Feeling enormous gratitude for the wonderful programs that you have given us all for so many years. For those complaining about the change in time, it makes me sad. This is a gift.

    • Gabriela F says:

Totally agree with you, since it is impossible for the videos to be released at a convenient time for the whole world. People should appreciate the gift Adriene gives us every year, be a bit more flexible and as Adriene said today “let go of expectations”. See you tomorrow! Let’s keep rocking it!

Ouch – defo lost a lot of arm strength, been a little while since I last showed up. Challenging, but I feel great now! See you all tomorrow!

    • Denise Leora Madre says:

I had the same realization with my wrists. They were like, “Ummm, what do you think you’re doing? We’re not prepared for this,” LOL. But I stuck with it, and we’ll all be back and ready to rock tomorrow.

    • La Ma says:

Same here! Wrists & arms were really talking to me during this practice 🙂

  6. Hannah Tait says:

I’ve been practising yoga with Adriene for nearly 6 years on and off now, but today officially marks my first full year of committing to a daily practice! Some days that meant 5 minutes of breathing and gentle stretching, some days it meant a sweaty hour on the mat, but every time I was glad I showed up. I never thought I could be the kind of person who did yoga every day, but now I couldn’t imagine my life without it. Thank you, Adriene, for making yoga so accessible to so many people, and for helping me become closer to my body and appreciate its ever-changing strength and power over what it looks like ❤

More than 15,500 people did this lovely practice with me just now! As I embark on my fourth year of YWA I send my sincere thanks for the talent, humour and generosity of Adriene and her team and the warmth and kindness of the YWA community. Helping us MOVE gracefully and with purpose through 2022. Thank you x

I started doing yoga 1 year ago and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. At age 20 my doctor said I was on the boarder of developing Osteoporosis and years later I was diagnosed with arthritis (most of my family has it too)now I’m 37 and my bones feel better than they did in my 20’s. Yoga has helped SO Much! Yoga also helped me tremendously with depression and anxiety. Overall it’s impact on my life has been nothing but positive. I also lost a lot of weight 🤗

    • Zuri Wilson-Seymore says:

      Congratulations!👏🏾 🎊 💐 🥳 Yoga heals physically and spiritually. 🦋❤🦋

    • Christie Watson says:

I started doing yoga a year ago as well…I HAD around the clock hip pain and a very weak core. Yoga with Adrienne was my intro to yoga and a constant companion in my health journey this past year. I can’t believe the improvement to my body and mind embarking on this journey.

    • Margaret Forsey says:

I am so happy for you. Yes, yoga has helped me enormously, too. 💕

    • Francesca Colonnello says:

Glad to hear that! I also started doing at home yoga one year ago and I am super excited to embark on a new journey with all the people practicing around the world.

  9. Chris Mumford says:

“I am here”, that was beautiful. So much respect and gratitude to Adriene.
    Thank you 🙏

last year’s Breathe series was incredible and clarifying, and at the end of January 2021 I began my transition. I’m so excited to step into Move this year as the truest version of myself. ♥️
