I don’t know if it has been done before, but 100 days as a scientist would be good. E.G. Chemistry abilitys, so transformation substances, could also be cool if there was the ability to absorb nearby materials to create things.
Edit: if you search this up, it has been done before as a 100 days hardcore zombie apocalypse, however the mechanics would be vastly different.

Have you ever considered getting a shulker box to hold your stuff in? When you’re in the outer end, be sure to get some. You can hold your stuff and keep it safe from being blown up by the hunters. Make sure it’s the quest items to keep them safe.

Probably a balance thing. Same reason he usually doesn’t have the quest items on him at all times.

100 days as a furnace with the hunters being “barbequers” that want to capture you so that they can use you for a barbaque. You also, can’t go into water or else you will take damage.
As you go through the challenge, you’ll unlock bigger and more efficient furnace forms until you get the Industrial Furnace.
Meanwhile, this could allow for so many good abilities: Flame Thrower, Auto Smelting, the ability to turn on and illuminate an area while also doing damage to anyone who touches you due to how hot you are, ect.

I’d like to suggest that rather then just damage from getting into water that he also gets slowness due to rusting
I see the word “Phoenix” and immediately think “Oh god, the amount of chaos and totem popping that will happen, along with fire and even cool items like say a Phoenix Tear”
Also, imagine the amount 100 Days as Master Chief, with the hunters starting with Covenant Plasma Pistols, and Ryan starts with the classic Bubble Shield

I kinda expected him to be the hunter since phoenixes can respawn after death, so yeah not exactly the ability for someone who is supposed to have 1 life
I thought he would have a totem ability again but as long as you get it you can use it basically in game it’s ding! Ding!and rugby rocky has a totem in his code but not in inventory
Since phoenixes aren’t known for having a totem in their mouths because we can see the droping animation is spitting
