Inside Out 2 | Teaser Trailer

🚧Things are getting messy🚧

Disney and Pixar’s #InsideOut2 is coming to theaters June 2024 with brand new emotions!

The little voices inside Riley’s head know her inside and out—but next summer, everything changes when Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” introduces a new Emotion: Anxiety. According to director Kelsey Mann, the new character promises to stir things up within headquarters. “Anxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke, might be new to the crew, but she’s not really the type to take a back seat,” said Mann. “That makes a lot of sense if you think about it in terms of what goes on inside all our minds.” A trailer, poster and film stills are now available for what promises to be the feel-good (or feel-everything) film of Summer 2024.

Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone. Maya Hawke lends her voice to Anxiety, alongside Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust. Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, “Inside Out 2” releases only in theaters Summer 2024.

It’s so cute how joy immediately gets Infront of all of them , she’s the protector and they all hide behind her

They absolutely nailed the design of anxiety. I could instantly tell what they were just by one look.

It certainly seems that Pixar is going to put a lot of love into this new installment, I’m sure it will be one of the films that will really connect with the viewer

Unlike a lot of other Pixar sequels, this one actually makes sense to exist. Having them deal with Riley’s adolescence is the logical next step from the first

Is so easy to spot when a sequel gets the care and thought needed (Toy Story 2 and 3) vs being just a cash grab (Monsters University, The Incredibles, Finding Dori, everything related to Cars). I’m really happy that Inside Out 2 is looking more like the former than the later.

Now this is a good idea for a sequel. Not only I want to see more emotions, but also new islands of personality that revolve around the phases some of us gone through as teenagers.

Given the colorful, changing text at the ending … and the spoilery early poster for the movie …
      we have – somewhat:
envy (cyan), embarassment (pink), anxiety (orange) and boredom (indigo blue)

    • kurojima says:

would be funny if the personality islands are constantly being torn down and rebuilt – because teenagers you know

    • JustMails says:

@ClockMaster2020Envy used to be green in the old art concept, but because Disgust was green too they decided to replace it by changing it to cyan

    • Man CERL says:

I don’t get jt though. Anxiety and Embarrassment are just literal combinations of the already existing emotions.

Inside Out is such a special movie to me. It came out at the right time for me. I resonated with it so much and it literally changed my life with its outlook on toxic positivity. Anyway, looking forward to them representing my anxiety disorder.

When you already love a character when the trailer comes out you know it’ gonna be a good movie. Also loving her design. As someone who struggles with anxiety I love the representation here.

I watched this movie as a kid and I love how they are gonna make another movie and that they are adding new emotions and the fact that anxiety is one of them actually makes me happy as I have anxiety myself
