In Feb ’05, I miscarried and then lost my mum’s mum in March of that same year. Fast forward to Sept ’05, I then find out I was pregnant again. Feared the worst. And rightly so… I was pregnant with twins. Sadly though, it was not meant to be. Only one of those twins made it to term. I gave birth to my rainbow baby via emergency c-section, in June of ’06. Fast forward to Aug ’10 and I was fortunate enough to have given birth via scheduled c-section to what I also consider my rainbow baby. Her pregnancy near killed us both. Hence, I was told by my Dr. to not have any more children, other wise it would kill me next time. @Kendall Rae, hearing of your rainbow baby makes me smile with tears of joy. I send my biggest congratulations to you and Josh. I wish you both well during this scary, but ‘oh so worth it’ journey and I, like so many of your fans, look forward to updates, photos and pregnancy stories that you have to share. God bless 🙏
First, I completely understand what it is to go through a miscarriage. I had two within 6 months of each other…They are very rough to get through. Alex is my “rainbow baby” and he is now 23….a very affectionate young man! My heart goes out to you for the loss, but also to this new joy! What a blessing after such sorrow! May God bless you both during this time.
