The ‘Friends’ actor is laid to rest. Perry’s castmates, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer were there to say goodbye. Matthew Perry’s funeral comes nearly a week after the star died in an apparent drowning at this Los Angeles home Oct. 28.

I met him once at a party and told him that I considered him to be the best comedy actor-his jokes were effortless, not forced, convincing…he was 100% believable. When I heard the news….I felt the way I felt when Freddy Mercury died – that I will never be able to tell him again how brilliant he was, and how much joy he brought into my life with his talent. RIP dear Matthew!

I still can’t believe he’s gone. Matthew Perry was the main reason I watched Friends every Thursday night when I was teenager. He was so funny and easy to love. My heart goes out to his family and friends. May his soul rest in peace🙏🏻😞

You’re an ID10T if you think that has anything at all with people liking him and enjoying him either on TV or in reality. His family, friends, and all his fans loved him in spite of his short comings. He was an amazing actor and made me laugh so much. He will be greatly missed!

Once the SAG-AFTRA strike has reached an incredible deal, I hope television and movie producers stop making shallow judgments on actors based on how they look, how tall they are, or any other feature that prevents them from exceeding in their careers.
This is one of the reasons why Don Mancini, the creator of Chucky is a very generous producer because he cast Devon Sawa, one of the stars of Casper to play four different characters through the three seasons of the show. This helped producers realize that Devon is a very versatile actor. Every actor should be given the generous opportunity to demonstrate their versatility.

Spot on.. The therapy of laughter to troubled souls is immeasurable. He did us all so much good. He covered his bases there beautifully, PLUS helped those with addiction issues.

Watching him for so long on Friends, it was like losing a family member you didn’t see often, or a high school friend you hung out with, but lived in a different state, but loved them still. Rest in peace , thank you for you 🙏🙏✌️❤️❤️❤️
