One of the hardest bosses I remember fighting!
Worse than kintaro even!
Kintaro was only harder IF you can’t figure him out but motaro is unpredictable and near impossible to predict making it harder to counter he can easily stand there allow himself to get beaten on purpose ONLY so you drop your guard and he grabs you and hits you across the screen! Kintaro for a while was my favorite as a kid on Sega genesis mk2 but motaro on snes was also just as good if not better lol

Motaro is my favorite MK Boss which is a hard list to top. My dream is to someday see his full self playable again outside of Trilogy

That’s not Shao Kahn, it’s General Shao. While they’re the same character they’re not the same… no different than Raiden being Raiden except he’s no longer the Protector of Earthrealm.
The old one had never horns in his head, just on his Helmet sometimes@Paulo Oliveira
It’s so dope to see Shujinko! MK Deception was my first introduction to the series and I have been playing ever since. I love the design. I would love to see him as full playable character too!
In mk deception the main character is Shujinko and the main villain Onaga, so if Shujinko is in mk1 do you think that means Onaga will be in mk1 too?
@DomTheLegendnoch necessarily,with the reboot it May be possible that his Story changes too although i still wish to See both of them again

Shujinko back as a Kameo feels like such a surreal experience and bringing back classic Motaro moves & stances is nostalgic AF
The unidentified fighter in earlier trailers,coming through a portal with the Earthrealmers, has been speculated to be a young Shujinko,this very well could confirm those theories now. This is looking more and more like a multi-verse like game where anyone can pop up. Would be fitting to play as a Young Shujinko in Konquest type mode once again.

So there’s cameo’s and then there’s fighters
Do we get to choose who the cameo is? Or is it like marvel vs capcom where the fighters and cameos are the same?

@Lost Silverkameos are a separate roster of characters, some are on the base roster, some are exclusively kameo. They have their own move set though.
I love series reboots like this. Turning the whole narrative on its head and giving it the big spin. I’m here for it!
same, but I feel like they could’ve fit a game or two with interesting plots (centered around dark Raiden for example) between MKX and MK11

@Universethey could’ve also added things that aren’t shown/only explain3d in comics. For example, gor9 dying, kuai liang becoming human again, maybe stuff around others like noob cyrax sektor Shang sung

Seems like there’s going to be a LOT of characters with weapons in this game ! Love the different ranges. I just hope the hand to hand characters aren’t TOO much faster than them. But there seems to be a good balance between ranged, mid, and up close moves. Like none of them seem too OP for any characters shown so far
I’d say someone like Johnny having a decent speed advantage would be fair bc with all the kameos and ranged attacks… it ain’t looking to good for hand to hand fighters ☠️
There’s so many characters so I can’t say for sure but from playing the beta I fear some of them will be op. Kenshi for example has a spectral samurai you can summon and if you jump on the other side of the opponent you and the specter just fucking destroy them and they can’t escape.
this is shaping up to be one of the best story modes ever! between Scorpion being Kuai Liang, Mileena having the Tarkat disease, Sindel mourning Jerrod, Raiden being the chosen one, I just cant wait to see how everything will play out.
Kuai Liang is Scorpion, now?! But what about Hanzo Hasashi?! Does he not exist now?!
