Could you plasma the native air around you, without having to use a tank of gas, just electricity and a micro jet engine modified to produce the blade?

This series really shows trade offs in effect. They traded swinging ability for a rodless flame lightsaber that cut stuff, and then one day they’ll combine both of them.
This seems like a great update, I’d love to see a combination of this an some kind of retractable metal rod so you can actually hit stuff with it
Hey guys, love the channel. I had a couple thoughts on how you might improve the saber for your next version. Have y’all considered using acetylene as a fuel instead of propane, as it burn a lot hotter? Also, I saw one guy devise using a telescoping ceramic blade that would dispense the plasma throught tiny holes along its length, while also allowing you to have a solid blade.
So this is where they’re going to need to start utilizing the way rocket engines cool the inside combustion chamber of the rocket and engine nozzle. Temperatures reached by combustion in rocket engines often substantially exceed the melting points of the nozzle and materials (about 1,200 K for copper). Regenerative cooling, where the propellant is passed through tubes around the combustion chamber or nozzle, and other techniques, such as curtain cooling or film cooling. (wiki)
While I am kinda on the side of using acetylene for a hotter output, what has to be in consideration is the outer part of the saber not melting itself while it’s active. Maybe I’m wrong on this but I’m not sure if the materials the hacksmith are using can withstand higher temps. But hey if I’m wrong then I’d love to see that

Since you seem to be going for aesthetics on the blade, could you have a casing for the power pack to make it look like a blaster in a holster? It would draw attention from the fact that the lightsaber isn’t actually free floating as well
