This is hands down the best Nintendo Direct I’ve watched in a WHILE. Super hyped for all the Mario and Pikmin stuff. The fact they’re making a new 2D Mario game that ACTUALLY looks creative and not the same copypasted format 5 times in a row is super cool

All my life I’ve been told Mario RPG is a must play and I just haven’t gotten to it. Now I can finally experience it. And in its best form

Yeah, to be honest the original will probably still be better, but nonetheless glad more people will experience it now.
@Mars OfficialIf nostalgia is the only reason people will like the original more than the Remake, than the Remake did it’s job, which is to bring the game to a new audience while not making the game worse. It would be an exact tie between the remake and the original, one wouldn’t be above the other.
Same here! Haven’t played the original, but read about it from gaming magazines in the early 90s how the some of the Squaresoft dream team members were working on it. My significant other told me I should play it, apparently the story is also very good, despite the goofy and silly characters!
