Georgia fan here: Alabama deserved to win 100%. Bama was the better team, more physical on both lines of scrimmage. Georgia made more self inflicted mistakes in this game than I’ve seen us make since the 2019 South Carolina game and that cost us the game, cannot do that against a team like Bama and get away with it. It’s been a magical run but it was gonna end eventually and it did today, there’s a reason 3peating is so difficult. I’m proud of the resilliency Georgia showed today in the 4th quarter but we simply didn’t make the plays and Bama did.
GG to Bama, Saban continues to show why he’s the best coach in the history of the sport and if y’all do end up making the CFP you’d be my pick to win it all. Milroe is a warrior and a matchup nightmare for anybody and your defense is the best it’s been in years.
Go Dawgs, have no doubt we’ll come back from this and be right back in the thick of it next season.
