That line of accomplished women journalists…I had a catch in my throat. Thank you, Barbara. Rest in the arms of the angels.
Joan Lunden, Connie Chung….many of those names were from my childhood.
And honestly, I WISH they had Barbara Walters roll in:
“I’m Barbara Walters, and THIS is 2020.” Bet that would have been a whole different year.
That brought me to tears! What a life, what a legacy.
Me, too!! I watched The View every morning back in the 90’s. Barbara Walters was one of a kind. There will never be another journalist like Barbara Walters. May she rest in peace. xoxo
OMG what an amazing honor that was!!!
Yes. That was epic.
RIP Barbara Walters. 🙏❤️ She was a woman of talent, class and integrity and a trailblazer for women journalists. Condolences to her family.
I hate to say but that video just brought a tear to my eye, we’re going to all Miss Barbara Walters
@C Love I LOVE that title you just gave her! I’ll remember it always! She really was “the glass ceiling breaker!”
A Tear? TEARS for me!! Rest In Sweet Peace, ‘The Glass Ceiling Breaker,’ Barbara Walters!! 😪😪🌹🌹
Oops too late 😭
Same here.
Such a beautiful spirit! Rest in peace Ms. Walters. 🙏❤
Did she adopt her daughter? Was she never able to have kids of her own?
What a Legacy!!! RIP Ms. Walters!
Job well done on this tribute! Very fitting and appropriate! 😊
We done. A life beautifully lived, Barbara Walters ❤
Well done, y’all! Well done!
And when the wonderful walk of women entered the room–BARBARA WALTER’S LEGACY–I cried like a baby. I was overwhelmed by Toni Morrison’s magnificent quote: I COME AS ONE BUT I STAND AS 10,000! THAT MOMENT. THOSE WORDS. WOW.
Me too, bruh. Great quote.
amen my brother. May she rest in power.
Good grief I thought I could watch this without tearing up or becoming emotional but in the last segment when she was honored with her legacy of famous women reporters, it was a rap the tears are coming and I can’t stop crying Rest in peace Barber Walters you are a legend.
Same as soon as the rest of the female journalists honored her I was in tears.
Same
I know…I felt the same way. That was such a special tribute when they all showed up together…what a neat idea.
