Frontiers wound up breaking into my top 5 favourite Sonic games. I’ve been coming back to it again and again since completion; these updates have been a big part of that. Addressing criticisms & adding new content totally free of charge will always make your consumers happy. September 28th can’t get here soon enough.
Hell this the first Sonic game in a long time where I bought it more than once. I’m playing through it again on my Switch now while already 100% it on PS5 lol
Bruh, Frontiers is my favorite game in the franchise even before the updates but the new content we have makes it even better.
Frontiers is my favorite due to its gameplay, the Open World and Combat is unlike anything we’ve ever played before in a Sonic game (sure we have The Fighters and Battle but that pales in comparison).

The writing in this game is so rewarding as a fan and I can’t believe we’re getting more so soon!
So glad the producer took into account how everyone was telling him the bullet hell against the moon was awful. Glad he actually re did the ending for us.
Right? The final boss was just completely awful and boring. But at least now the producer of this game did us a favor.
I guess this is kinda like part 2 of Sonic Frontiers
@sonicgalaxy27 What I found weirdest was how much harder it was than the rest of the game, and how you only got to see it on hard. It’d be okay to have it be so punishing in that format if it was Undertale or something, but it’s a Sonic game. The rest of the game was considerably easier, and the difficulty spike made the out-of-place nature of the 2D shooter gameplay stand out even more.
@SciTailsI enjoy the bullet hell section, it just shouldn’t be the final boss. It should be phase 1 and the real fight being phase 2
This update is probably the true ending they always wanted, but didn’t have the time to fully produce it. Hell, Sega wanted the game released for the 30th anniversary, but the whole team fought for an extra year in order to up the quality. They truly want this game to redefine sonic in every single way
This feels like the climax to a wonderful fever dream that is almost too good to believe has been true and continues to be true.
It’s absolutely incredible how much new Sonic content we’ve been getting lately. I love seeing new updates, and I’m absolutely REELING right now

They finally got it, they aced the game they HAD TO ace, they know they must ride this wave because it’s going to bring health to all Sonic fans’ hopes. Also, I’m hoping that Supreme gets a revamp because it would be absolutely phenomenal to have a The End round 2

@Bombergame I honestly felt that Supreme was a bit too easy but idk maybe it was just that i was playing on normal. I still want to play that boss on hard difficulty because i heard The End boss was different.

This is going to be awesome! After the first two updates, the only thing really holding this game back (for me at least) is the story’s ending. Seeing as they’re fixing that last aspect, I am incredibly excited!!

I really hope after the story is done, we can play as all characters on any island and any cyberspace level. The kind of speed runs to pull off would be amazing.
