A prisoner in a state-of-the-art penitentiary begins to question the purpose of the emotion-controlling drugs he’s testing for a pharmaceutical genius.
Super weird hearing Chris without an Australian/Nord accent from Thor, but he pulls it off perfectly. Just goes to show how talented all these actors truly are
. Along with Hemsworth, Miles Teller and Jurnee Smollett star as two of the titular penitentiary’s prisoners.
You’re hearing it in rapid, quick cuts; we won’t really know how good he is at it until we hear him speaking for more than a half-second at a time.
Lol
@Azizam A Says the person who knows nothing about acting. Trying learning the ways of acting. You would be singing a different tune.
this looks really good! Im excited
Yeah like any aren’t you asking when does this come out or anything…? Your just excited but don’t know when it’s release date is….
how
Interesting premise, and Hemsworth is really showing range, branching away from heroic roles into a more gray area of morality. Good American accent too.
How can you tell about his accent when all we’re hearing are half-second snippets at a time?
Should check him out in Bad Times at the El Royale.
chris is not just going to be known as thor now he did a great job with extraction and now this glad to see he is doing more roles .
Hope Chris is able to find more work outside of marvel. And of course more roles that don’t dumb him down.
Hé is great in extraction
Thor is just gullible, (easily fooled by Loki) which is different from being stupid. He’s also quick to anger, which makes him seem dumb because he doesn’t think things through before jumping into a fight.
Have you been living under a rock and only come out when a Marvel movie is release. Dude has done a ton of movies and is really good in some (if the movie isn’t shit already)
Find work outside of Marvel? Like the work he already has been able to get?
Thor isnt dumb… i get what your saying but he def isnt dumb.
This looks like an awesome episode of Black Mirror and I’m here for it
Minnie Ripperton playing in the background just enhances the overall trailer.
I luv this song have for years and now it’s attached to Us and Spiderhead, oddly enough. As long as people hear her voice…
I’ve been hearing this song in a lot of places recently and I love it. They just used it on Atlanta a few weeks ago
It’s the original Les fleurs.
@James Waters it’s definitely the original. You can hear Minnie’s voice on this one.
This is not 4 Hero. This is the original Minnie Ripperton produced by Charles Stepney.
The last dialogue just killed it.
Y’all saying Chris is “finally showing his range” like, have you seen any of his movies from the past decade? He’s done drama, action, comedy, horror… he’s more than Thor.
These people all slept on Bad Times At The El Royale, that’s for sure…
Chris is so admirably versatile, and it’s great to see him do Extraction and Spiderhead simultaneously, with the both being polar opposite roles
@Hass Gropper Did you not watch that cutless scene? Talk about impressive
He is a garbage actor. What are you on?
@Mahin Kaiser no it’s very easy, there are A grade movies everywhere, Extraction just isn’t one of them
@Hass Gropper I mean even for western standards it was a solid 5/10 and in comparison to Bollywood it was definitely a 7/10. But if you think it was a 2/10 I can respect that opinion. Definitely far better movies out there.
