You don’t get squadron 42 for supporting the kickstarter bud. You paid to support them making games and they took that money, made another game, and want you to buy that one now.

I can’t believe It’s been 7 years since I first entered the verse and we’re finally getting squadron. Thank you for all the work you guys do and can’t wait to play.
I love that they are keeping the story of SQ42 a mystery too. Leaves us to discover it when it comes! I hate movie trailers that tell you the entire movie!

Been around since 2013 and I’m finally happy to say with confidence, this is highly encouraging. “Feature complete” hopefully means we’ll get large numbers of Devs moving back to PU work and get things rolling and a better pace.
A lot of the core gameplay elements for Sq 42 transition to SC so it’s kind of a 2 for 1. Remember though, they want this to be a trilogy.

@Nathan Oosthuizen I know it’s all good feels and coming off hype for the past 2 day.. But history with CIG and “deadlines” is not a pretty subject. So once the hopeium wears off reality usually sets in. I’d be extremely surprised if we see SQ42 by Christmas next year.

that’s very fair, considering ubisoft copy paste games go for $100 and star citizen is like 1000x more technically advanced than them
Hah, I know the feel. I got my Mustang Alpha for 25$
I didn’t even know this was being created tell 2015 when a co worker told me about it. I checked it out and followed it for almost a year then decided to back it as well in 2016. So haven’t been around as long as some but it’s been a fun ride so far and looks to continue to be a fun ride.
I have been a huge fan of Star Citizen but had little interest in SQ42…until now. It looks epic and I am actually excited to check this out.
Squadron 42 was what sold me originally but what they showed of base building was great ngl
SQ42 was the only reason I bought a carrack to support the development. Unless the PU has a single player mode like ED has I will most likely never touch it.

Looks and sounds great. Was shocked by the biggish name actors they had in this. Hopefully it will play great and be delivered within the next 2-3 years.
They actually have a lot more big name actors in it. There is an older video were they are all listed. Even Henry Cavil has a cameo appearance.
