what’s the point? Nothing will ever be as good as this. We have to accept it. Our lives after this will be rewatching the 4 seasons again and again, like we do with The Wire.
I don’t want this show to end but ending it before it has the chance to falter is the best way to go 🙌

@Lukas Ribin I disagree completely about s3. Kendall’s storyline was very different from s1 and s2. He becomes a Kanye West like manic figure addicted to creating media spectacles. Yes things repeat but it’s intentional and thematic.
Not necessarily saying this is you, but I think a lot of people who trashed s3 just wanted Kendall to be a badass and beat Logan. Which just wouldn’t work imo.

I love that the creators of Succession are not forcing the show to have as many seasons as possible just because it’s been successful. It’s ending on a high rather than on a dragged out low, true classic

This is just a false dichotomy. I like the choice for four seasons, but fans aren’t upset that it isn’t a flat forever show, they’re upset because they (wrongly) assumed it would be 5 seasons which also isn’t that much. I think it could’ve had enough muscle to take it to 5, but 4 could be better.
Say it ain’t so! Not the last season! I can’t get enough of this show. This whole cast has been one the best ensembles I’ve ever seen. Just perfection. I’m going to miss this show!

Pure brilliance. The mere fact its ending is a sentiment the creators and writers have a set story to tell, instead of milking it. Succession is one of the best shows ever made
