The fact there’s an option to change the language of the flowers without changing the language of the core game is honestly an overlooked gift. You want screaming italian flowers? Absolutely

This game is absolutely beautiful. It definitely breathes fresh life, personality, and freedom into the 2D Mario formula. The levels are so creatively surreal and imaginative, the character designs are cute and fun. And the new power ups are so cool.
It’s so good.

Thr lack of variety in power ups is compensated by the badges and the wonder effect transformations

The distinction between Mario’s Plot and Story was on point here. Never really had the words to summarize why I still “felt” something from the mario games, and that hits it perfectly.
Already killing it by getting started on your dad joke repertoire, love it.
