Thanks Ryan for talking about the smoke! You are the only person I could find who uploaded about this smoke other than news channels! Thanks for all you do!

Dutchsinse shows us fires and smoke, too.

    • Anne M says:

      @dethmaul w/a grain of salt

I ❤ Ryan! Yesterday, however, Dutchsinse uploaded a video going into great detail about how his findings relate last month’s solar flare triggering heat signatures all around the edge of the N American Crraton coming up from underneath. He forecasts earthquakes.

    • sofia lizzy says:

Dutchsince is all over the fires & the smoke since it started weeks ago.

    • Perspective says:

Mitch weather west also talked about the smoke well before it happened

  2. Wildfire says:

Your info on the wildfire smoke and how it affects the weather over such a large swath of our country is fascinating. Thank you for taking the time to keep us weather-informed. You continue to be the best weather team anywhere! Thank you, Ryan Hall Y’all!

It’s very interesting that our weather systems have seemed to stop moving and even going backwards.

    • Dana56 says:

Yes, the wind direction has been very strange here in NW Wisconsin. Rain clouds form and then disappear bc of the smoke? We need rain!! Also been getting headaches every day.

    • Stereotypical Dude says:

yes! The storms in Oklahoma have been moving very slowly to the west mostly!

    • stanly steemer says:

Yes the clouds are going back and forth and up and down, even seem to be doing figure eights making smoke rings.

It’s because climate crisis has taken out the jet stream from Florida and up pass New England…I am 63 y.o. and when I was in my 20’s thru my 40’s, every night on the news the meteorologists in the Boston area would always talk about the jet stream…well if you noticed over the last few yrs this jet stream is GONE!!

      @karen not true

  4. Tia Marrow says:

All of my friends are in NY and they said that yesterday was the worst, like it smelled so bad like a bonfire and the sky was orange….my best friend actually thought the world was ending, and pretty much a lot of restaurants in our area closed early because of it.

  5. Goofy316 says:

Thank you for keeping us informed.

  6. Rick Williams says:

It brought a whole new meaning to Great Smoky Mountains, we’re unable to see most of the mountains here in NC because of all the smoke.

  7. lisamr40 says:

Thanks Ryan for explaining the entire smoke situation. I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia. We’ve had an orange sun for days in the mornings. The smell of smoke was horrible yesterday. As of right now, (noon on 6/8) its not that bad, for now. Thanks for your informative videos.

    • The Mega Weather Geek says:

Yeah, the smoke was something else yesterday, it is a lot better at least where I live.

    • Mynorw2 says:

@The Mega Weather Geek for me it’s worse it’s in the very unhealthy zone

    • Ruth Stoker says:

It’s a strawberry 🌝 not because of the smoke haze

    • lisamr40 says:

@Ruth Stoker The strawberry moon was over the weekend not on Tuesday morning at 6 am. Trust me it was the sun. I wish I could post a pic. It was an incredible site.

  8. Tami says:

Fires from Canada causing so much asthma for me & my family, very haze from their wildfires. Prays to wildlife’s up there 🙏🏼❤️

  9. Mrs. Alma Trumble says:

Thank you for keeping us informed. We have family who are in the path of the smoke and have lung issues. Asking you and your subscribers to please pray for my hubby and I. Our air condition unit broke last summer and we’re trying to stay cool with an old window unit. My hubby is on oxygen 24-7 due to Covid damaging his lungs. He had a rollover accident in 2009 and it took his career. Thank you in advance. God Bless. PS, I do have a Go Fund Me, but we’re not begging for donations.

  10. Charles Lee says:

I live in Brooklyn, NY, and when I saw the sky was yellow and orange smoke everywhere. It smelled like a campfire from the Forest. That’s how I described it. I hope those wildfires in the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Alberta are put out.
