Spurs vs Chelsea is slowly turning into one of my favourite games every season

  2. Emily Zhang says:

The amount of disallowed goals in this game is mind-boggling

  3. Andrew Hubb says:

Spurs playing a high line even after they went down to 9 men definitely made the game (and Vicario’s night) more interesting. The amount of space in behind Spurs back line was ridiculous. Seems like these highlights turned into a Chelsea through-ball compilation.

    • IU says:

What a mistake that was. You can’t play highline with slow defenders (e.g., Dier). They should’ve just stayed in the box like Liverpool did.

    • UpDownABCheatcodes says:

@IUyou can’t also play a high-line when you’re 2 men down, cuz Chelsea would win the. Midfield battle and would be willing to commit more forwards. Playing low block could’ve been the better option. I also don’t like the fact that Tottenham’s coach wasn’t able to adapt to Chelsea especially in the second half

    • Twayne Boothe says:

This one of the poorest coaching I’ve seen in a game, he had so many opportunities to change the defensive strategy.

    • Elijah Brino says:

I couldn’t have have expressed that observation better myself! 💯

    • First name Last name says:

Chelsea don’t have any forwards capable of scoring. It’s a risk but it nearly paid off. You are never likely to win being two players down.

  4. Ricky Bobby says:

Vicario was on fire today…he single handly kept Tottenham in the game for 70 min…did his best in the last 30+ while he gave his heart out…do we rarely see a player with such passion

  5. FPSoccer says:

I’m also surprised that Tottenham continued with the high line after going down to 9. Chelsea just kept sending balls in behind and got runners. If they had more quality in those passes then it would’ve been way more than just 4 goals.

    • Quinn says:

with clinical fowards it would’ve been a 9, 10, or 11 goal thumping.

    • Samat NadyrbekUulu says:

Because Tottenham have game plan. And they keep it improving those plans . Or skills that they need on those plans

    • Onur says:

@Samat NadyrbekUulu🤣 They down to 9 player man. What game plan? They should’ve try to steal 1 point…. Those defensive lines are completely foolish and ridiculous. They were lucky not to concede 8

    • Samat NadyrbekUulu says:

      @Onur
That’s who they are now , keep doing what you doing it’s good on long term, that’s why spurs on the top now

  6. JCruz says:

That goalie was balling out! That was an incredible performance despite the score.

    • no further west says:

He could have gotten to the 3rd goal when it was played through if he ran to it with feet like the prior ones. But its such a hard calculation to make

  7. CometCollector says:

Watching Vicario gives me chills. Rarely do we see players with such passion

  8. Luciano Arebalo says:

Insane goalkeeping to keep it 1-1 until the 75th minute

  9. Nova Navickas says:

If you are a Spurs fan this is a team you can be proud to support. They are truly a lionhearted team, really inspiring effort.

    • Quinn says:

sums up tottenham as a club, inspiring effort but no trophies 😭

    • Vulcan_Pencil says:

      Da story of tottenham 😊

    • sailor sava says:

Not long ago a team played with 9 against them and with disallowed goal which was fine still played better than them! So… What goes around comes around! 🙂

    • JOSEPH ABRAHAM says:

They were so easy to break through.. how’s that any good .. relying on bad finishing for most of the time and some good keeping

    • Nova Navickas says:

@JOSEPH ABRAHAM Because you will usually lose 2 men down anyway, but instead of improving their chances to draw by like 10% and playing a low block they decided to go down like a warrior. I think possibly losing out on a point was worth it for point that was made about their football and this team, and that message was that no matter what they will not back down. I think espeally early in the season that was a great move by the manager to get the locker room and the fans fully bought in.
