@Eddie Garciasmaller but more experienced in that weight class, first fight for charlo in this weight class against canelo is a big jump especially being out for a year. Not hating on charlo but u should know size doesn’t matter in the world of boxing

As a Canelo fan, Jermell has been my favorite opponent so far. He’s been humble, extra likable, relatable. I liked that part where he said he had to know Texas Spanish specifically, not the NY Spanish lol. Being a Texas native myself, and always rooting for the underdog, I’m rooting for Jermell too. May the best man win
Spanish is Spanish no matter where it is spoken except for some small differences but a non Spanish speaker like Charlo wouldn’t know that to even say the dumb shit he said on the show.
All of Texas is proud of Jermell, but seeing that he brings his family with him in camp means everything to me. Some boxers will say they need to “remove all distractions”, whatever. Family isn’t a distraction, it’s a motivation. I love this man for that. Go get him Charlo.
