Ryland you’re not gonna need an alarm clock. Those babies are gonna be keeping you up all hours of the night.
Yeah you get so good at hopping up quickly and falling asleep quickly. Having an infant was the only time in my life I didn’t have insomnia. I could lay down and be asleep in about 2 minutes.
Not all babies! My first I had to set an alarm because he would never wake himself to feed. The doctors had me keep a detailed diary of meals, times and dirty diapers to make sure he got enough cause all he did was sleep for 3 years practically. It sounds like “the dream” baby situation but it was stressful making sure all those numbers were square to keep my boy healthy 😂❤ 11 years later he is still such a hard sleeper, only because he sneaks VR time super late 😅
For both of my sons the nurses told me “oh you have to wake him to feed every 4 hours even at night” im sorry but screw that, if hes hungry he’ll wake up. Both of my sons slept through the night pretty early on and get fed as soon as they wake up. I know they get fed enough so i think its pretty ridiculous to wake them up. My barely 3 month old baby is wearing 6-9 month clothing rn haha, he gets fed plenty, hes a little chunky boy.
I never knew when I was awake and when I was asleep. Sleep deprivation is no joke. Every 2 hours my baby would wake for the first 4 months
Actually late preterm babies don’t usually wake on their own for feeds, you often have to wake them up every 3 hours. I have a 37 weekrt and that was the case with her
Watching Shane being so silly in the hotel room just made me think about how fun he will be with max and jet. Ryland, your face says it all. You love these babies with your whole heart!!! (Obviously so does Shane). CONGRATS DADDIES 👍🏼❤🎉

I highly recommend the hatch rest baby sound machine! I’ve used it for both of my boys and it’s the best thing ever !
And another random thing I recommend is the nose frida! People are weird about it (look it up you’ll know why) but it’s so convenient and works great for those tiny baby noses. Oh and tons of swaddles! Soooo happy for y’all🫶🏼

20 weeks ALREADY?! WHAT?! Wow that’s wild lol I’m a stay at home homeschooling single mom to a 4 1/2 year old daughter. My only advice is, soak up every second and write down funny cute things they do or say! Time goes by sooo fast. I swear I just had my daughter yesterday! But I just know y’all are gonna be the best parents 💕🥰

I have written all the funny stuff they have said now mine are older and love me re reading what they said as Lil ones, gives them belonging
