As a person that used to play football those injuries that we would sustain are no joke at all. And as a Bears fan i hope and pray that he pulls through and he makes a speedy recovery.

I saw #30, his teammate, rushing toward him from a short distance, immediately after collapse. (From this news clip) It was apparent it was a serious situation. I hope he was treated quickly enough.

@Goosinator Does CPR preceding fibrillation increase the survival rate against time?

    • MyFiddlePlayer says:

The report that he is on a ventilator in a medically induced coma is not a good sign. It means that they either suspect or have confirmed brain damage.

    • Goosinator says:

defibrillation within 1 minute of ventricular fibrillation onset results in a 100% survival rate and that defibrillation after 2 minutes results in an 80% survival rate. Im not sure how long it took for medical personnel to administer defibrillation, I wasn’t watching the game. He is young. Hopefully, he can make a full recovery. However, this condition is fatal, and brain damage sets in about 3 minutes without defibrillation.

Suspension of the game was the smartest choice because no way would anyone want to play after this shocking and hurtful event.
God be with this man and touch his heart with your healing hand that he will recover from his condition. Amen. Thoughts and prayers to the family and to the team.

@Steve Street Damn dude, thats brutal pricing, im hoping for 6k replacement for both the furnace and the condenser. Or fixing it myself the fan and compressor both work think its either freon leak or problem in the thermostat to relay in the condenser that sits outside. Sorry you have such high pricing. Maybe you should come here. More humid but never reaches 100F. West coast florida… check it out man.
