I work at dominos and we always do this then and there. 30 is 30 minutes and we have no problems whatsoever to deliver in time

As a dominos driver there is 0 way we could ever get 30 minute pizzas out realistically, especially with our terrible owner who hasn’t upgraded anything in 20 years. Our oven is inconsistent and takes 7:30 when most places use 5:00 ovens now.

The Dominoes near me is in need of 12 more delivery drivers. We got a bigger, upgraded store over the course of the last couple years but not more employees so now every order takes forever and half
As a former dominos driver, we had drivers call out. Some days I would have five to six orders in my car. Not to mention that ridiculous car topper light! That thing almost got me robbed twice, where someone actually got in the trunk of my car. Luckily I only had my skateboard back there, and was able to run back to my car in time to chase em away! Dominos is a terrible place to work as a driver. Worked there five years and had no life! I worked 50 to 70 hours a week as a closer. Working from 4pm to 3am Monday – Sundays. Even when I had a day off, they would call me in. Didn’t care I had another job at all. Glad I have a life now and make more money working for myself, instead of burning myself out for a company that doesn’t give a crap about me, my safety, or my sanity. I got fired for wanting a month off asking for paid leave due to the stress, hostile work environment, and not having a day off since March 2020 due to COVID and lots of people quitting. I asked for leave in August this year, got fired end of September.
I truly wish you luck man! Hope you find a better paying job soon! Before you begin crying in your car and having a panic attack because you’re tired and haven’t slept in three days.

That in itself might not have been so bad, if they hadn’t decided that if the driver didn’t get there in 30 minutes, the cost of the order would come out of their paycheck. When someone’s income is on the line, they do what they think needs to be done.
