Really happy for the lions and their fans with a strong start against a fantastic KC team. I’m a Ravens fan but I’ve always had a real soft spot for Detroit because of their history and I hope Dan Campbell can take them far this year.

@Mason Hayden Dude they won the Super Bowl last year, have arguably the best quarterback in the NFL, and have a coaching staff that knows how to develop players. They’re still very good.

We Lions fans have been waiting a long time for a momentum shift like this. We, without a doubt, have the best team we’ve had in quite a while. I know it’s only one game, and it wasn’t a pretty win, but this is gonna skyrocket our confidence.
I’ve unapologetically been about the harshest Lions critic there is (and I’m talking about the organization, not necessarily the players and coaches) but yeah, something has felt different since about the middle of last season. We’ll see what happens.

Insane how Branch fell to them in the second round. I still remember everyone hating the Campbell pick but it was one of their biggest needs on defense. Even a lot of people hated the Gibbs pick at 12 but look how incredible he was tonight. LaPorta as well. What an incredible job by the Lions front office
