Looks incredible ! I love the way they show Godzilla isn’t just walking around, he destroyes EVERYTHING.

  2. Sean Reusing says:

It really feels like a modern proper remake of 54. The roar, the atmosphere, the destruction. What a time to be a Godzilla fan

    • Eufrosnia D says:

Is this a remake of that movie from 54? I am not a big fan of remakes..,

    • MetalManiaxe78 says:

@Eufrosnia Dno it’s another reboot/reimagining like Shin Godzilla. They did it in 2016 with Legendary and back in 84 during the Heisei era.

    • 葉﨑 薫 says:

@Eufrosnia D No, it’s not. “54” was set in Japan, which was revived in 1954, but “-1.0” is set in Tokyo, where Japan lost the war in 1945 and there was nothing.

    • Regulus says:

definitely the most intimidating version of godzilla i will say. the scars and look of him gadamn and what hes able to seemingly able to do throwing boats and everything around this’ll defo slap hard.

    • SynthGal says:

@葉﨑 薫 My guy, Tokyo is in Japan

  3. TheHulkster17 says:

“That monster… will never forgive us.” As it cuts to Godzilla’s roar sends chills up my spine. As a lifelong Godzilla fan, I can’t wait to see this in theaters. This looks amazing!

  4. Oldie-SE says:

Love this moment when Godzilla took a step and the ground was pushed up. Stunning.

  5. Swaraj Sarkar says:

This looks quite incredible. The Godzilla feels like a combination of the recent two incarnations (Shin and Legendary). Looks terrifying.

    • Travis says:

      looks like hesei to me

    • CBreezy says:

@Travisit has a little bit of everything going with it. Heisei, Legendsry, and even the modern Shin. Theyre taking bits and pieces from the history of Godzilla to give us a modern remake/retelling of the original film (Shin accomplished similar feats but it was actually set in modern times, this is a period piece).

But come on. That “swimming underwater shot” didn’t give you Legendary vibes?

    • ZippyMufo says:

@CBreezy Nope. Legendary is pure cringe and best forgotten.

    • toe eater says:

@ZippyMufo”uwu im so quirky and different i hate legendary”

    • Enfinitebalance Everything itself says:

I could agree, like also minus one and legendary both kinda have that same skin color and texture

  6. AACMBirdzilla23 says:

I love how this feels like a 50’s era movie, and having Godzilla as an evil force of nature that brings rampage, despair and destruction to the land feels so good man, that’s how he started, and honestly, I prefer him that way

  7. LeiFlux07 says:

I like how Toho is modernising the franchise without losing their style or identity.

  8. The Keggie says:

This is the Godzilla movie we always needed. Set in Japan and produced by Toho Studios but with cutting edge VFX effects of the Hollywood versions.

  9. MarksKirby says:

Got chills right down my spine, as a life long Godzilla fan since 1996 I am beyond happy! I cannot believe how amazing these next few months will be with Godzilla content

  10. CBreezy says:

There’s so much inspiration going on in this trailer. Im getting 1954 vibes, Shin vibes, and even Legendary vibes. This movie really looks like its going to be the great film.
