Given the fact that colour options are the one of the only noticeable novelty in iPhone launches, apple will eventually run out of colours. Which means that Dave can finally get a Teal coloured iPhone.

I find the different focal lengths really interesting because I feel, especially with portraits, that the wide-angle cameras of smartphones distort people’s faces too much if you want to have a proper image composition. I love the possibility of going from 24mm to 35mm.
It’s not interesting, it’s just a digital crop.
I wouldn’t say 35mm is a natural fit for portraits either. The telephoto in the 15pro is like 77mm or something right? That’s far more of a typical portrait focal length, especially if you’re trying to minimise facial distortions.

I think for the first time in a long time, the base models are much compelling than the Pro models. (last year, nobody even considered the base 14)
yup. those base models are SO awesome this year
because the iPhone 14 was literally just a rebadged iPhone 13. I picked up a new iphone 13 last year because it was such an underwhelming upgrade for $250 more.
How are any of these compelling to people? I don’t get it
@Neon_1990If you mean upgrading from a 13 or 14, then no, they are not compelling. However, there are people coming from 5 year old phones. The base models should be a nice upgrade.
