Very good to see Mario RPG series getting better treatment, I hope Mario & Luigi is next in line.

  2. Joey Hamsterguy says:

I know this sounds crazy but I’m mostly hyped for another code recollection, I bought the Wii game only at the start of this year after realising there was a sequel to the DS game and the series was completely forgotten so whoever brought this back is AWESOME, Ashley and her story is brilliant!

    • MiuNya says:

I’m so happy to see more fans of this series. Its one of my favourite nichr games!! I played them in order but I was aware when the wii version released and was thinking this will be the last one for sure. I’m so happy I’m wrong!!

    • Say Soun says:

I’ll buy the digital but, I’m hoping for a physical copy as well.

    • Joey Hamsterguy says:

@Say Soun this artwork is too good to not get on a physical, just for display purposes! But honestly I’d recommend buying all the options, if they see that it’s popular then I could see the people who remastered this making a third game

    • Joey Hamsterguy says:

@MiuNya hello fellow fan! This remaster brings us out of the woodwork haha. Remember the struggles of the ds game and some of the point and click features not making sense or not knowing what to do with the DAS sometimes, hopefully that will all be cleared up in the remaster though so people can 100% for real lol

    • Ume Sama says:

Here’s hoping Hotel Dusk makes a return 🙏

  3. Vendetta162X says:

Seeing Super Mario RPG having post-game boss rematches makes me hopeful for the same inclusion in TTYD. Additional post-game content for TTYD would be even more unbelievable as TTYD getting a remaster.

    • Mystery Disc says:

Or a playable Luigi side story?!?!?!

    • Don Anilao says:

I think we Paper Mario TTYD fans know where the boss rematch will be…
      (Hint: It’s down a pipe)

    • IGotTheMilk says:

@Mystery Disc Paper Luigi:The Marvelous Compass,Where Luigi will be the main character and honestly if they have this as DLC man We’ll see how Luigi’s partners work

    • Steve Lucky says:

Bro a Luigi DLC for his own adventure would be sick! I don’t buy DLC, but as long as the length of the DLC (and its game play to be equally as fun as the main story) matches the price, you’ve got my money heck if they catch me in a good mood, I’ll end up paying a little more than what I would have wanted for that DLC if I can afford it.

    • IGotTheMilk says:

@Steve Lucky And we may finally see what the waffle kingdom looks like and see what princess eclair looked like

  4. Jomy D says:

I feel like you all aren’t giving enough credit to the splatoon games, this dlc looks like a masterpiece,so eerie and dark, one of the most unique Nintendo games yet!

  5. CRAZYrandom THREEseconds says:

Was NOT EXPECTING TTYD. Looks like another game to add to the list to buy

  6. Crizzly says:

Remastered TTYD gave me chills, so nostalgic. Will never forget picking it up as a kid because I thought the box art was cool and getting completely absorbed in its world. One of the best GC titles hands down

  7. KirbyKips says:

I’m actually kind of excited that they’re making another game with Peach as the main character! It looks good too!

    • GrizzlyWhisker says:

The only other one I can think of was a DS game called “Super Princess Peach” or something which was not bad.

    • Liam Marcus says:

      @GrizzlyWhisker3D World has playable Peach

    • GrizzlyWhisker says:

@Liam Marcus Yeah, honestly I beat that game first with Peach (before realizing you gotta beat it with everyone to open the secret levels) because her little flying move from SMB2 makes it way easier lol. I was referring to a game that’s got her as the main character though.

    • Somewhat Heroic Productions says:

I like how they sort of made her a magical girl in this game with the transformations. I’ll definitely be giving it a try.

    • Survivor Studios says:

And it (assumedly) doesn’t rely on a vibrator joke for it’s main plot device!

  8. Jeep Mega says:

Lately Nintendo has been on an absolute roll, and I’m extremely happy for them!

  9. Kailynn Bloodmoon says:

I’d have to say my favorite part of this Direct is that we’re getting both Super Mario RPG AND Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door. I love the original version of both so seeing them both come to the Switch is a dream come true for me. 😁

  10. Vibes & Vocals says:

Princess Peach Showtime is giving me Luigi’s Mansion vibes, and I love it!
