    This race was easily the best of the season so far. 19.47, 19.50, and 19.7??

    • N Sudatta-Roy says:

      Yea! While it’s arguably true that Tebogo and Knighton may be the future, I find that Tebogo lacks the maturity required. Knighton on the other hand, is a class-act. I want to see him put on some muscle (get stronger) and take things to another level.

    • kingofthenerds says:

      Those are World Championship medalist times for sure 😳

    • Adrian bento says:

      @N Sudatta-Roy tebogo’s fast that’s all that matters

    • Wesley Owens says:

      @kingofthenerdsmaybe knighton will be running as well so most likely the British guy doesn’t medal

    • Cr Yo says:

      You figured that out all by yourself, or did you see the same thing everyone else who watched this video saw? 🙄

  2. MrPanggs says:

    Never seen anybody challenge Lyles’ top end speed. Tebogo was catching him in the last 10 meters, even with Lyles running 19.4. Lyles is definitely running sub 19.3 at worlds. Also bummed that Knighton scratched. His hands are more full than ever before. He not only has to catch Lyles, but he has a young competitor who will be with him throughout his whole career in Tebogo now, he’s only 20!

    • Yawos says:

      No he won’t! The rounds will eat him. He should be forewarned Tebogo can beat him. That kid is always improving.

    • LosDiv907 says:

      What is the basis for statements like this? The announcer and this comment stating something along the lines of them getting faster as the months pass until world comp. This is an actual question. I just watch Olympics and youtube highlights like this when recommended so just curious.

    • MrPanggs says:

      @LosDiv907 No worries! This is Lyles’ 3rd fastest time ever and it is only July. There is still over 1 month until the world championships in Budapest. There, Lyles will be at peak fitness. At this time period in the season, athletes still aren’t training to run their fastest times. Hope this helped

    • LosDiv907 says:

      @MrPanggs got it, thanks

    • James Ball says:

      @Yawoshe just beat him the other day

  3. king shark says:

    Its really enough talent in the field to push Noah to clock some serious bizz. 200m is officially on alert.

  4. SplatFreak says:

    A 19.47 and its only july? Defintely Noah is going to go absolutely CRAZY at world champs

  5. Khalil S says:

    Noah Lyles ran really well but Tebogo with the 19.50, definitely more impressed given his age, the lane that he was in and the fact that he was catching Lyles slightly. Big props to Zharnel with that national record at London but we already knew he would beat that 😂.

  6. Eschatola Agapeo says:

    For the first time I see Tebogo run through the finish line without early celebration antics. I hope he keeps this discipline up.❤

  7. Jessica M. says:

    This was a really good race leading up to Worlds. Way to go Lyles! The top 3 were smokin’. Looking forward to the Men’s 200m at Worlds.

  8. Charlie Cheetah says:

    Why isn’t this televised? US track and field definitely staying consistent. Dropping the ball as the greatest athletes in the world stay in the shadows. But only in the US

  9. Solomon Cooper says:

    Noah Lyles has mastered the 200m he’s unbeatable at this event.

  10. Donovan Hendricks says:

    Tebogo and Knighton are the two young men who I think have the ability in a few seasons to either challenge or break Usain Bolt’s 200m record. Also while that race was probably the best all time single 200m race, we have to remember in Worlds and the Olympics, they have to run rounds, that’s what make Sir Usain Bolt’s performances so outstanding.
