I love the way she sat there and thought a bit before completely nailing it and then her psyching herself up, amazing little thing.

the evolution of them is fascinating, and understanding how they work is even moreso. the 20,000 leagues under the sea reference was a nice touch.

I super-duper love that Mark releases the female octopus with the important note about their short lifespan. Imaging becoming so maniacal over such a short life! <3

Mark, I loved this! I fell in love with Octopuses when I watched the movie My Octopus Teacher. I’m sure you’ve seen it. I know you’re told this many, many times……but I love so much of what you do. You teach children and adults so much, all the time keeping us so entertained we don’t think about the lesson. Your talent knows no bounds. Thank you as always, and if by any crazy chance you haven’t seen the movie, make sure you do!

      Octopi or octopodes

@penguinblak1684  Thank you for your edit of my note to Mark. The dictionary said octopi or octopuses. I went with the latter. I didn’t think it would be so scrutinized, as it was just a nice note to someone.
