This game was one of the last games I played with my grandma. She would watch and always point out the puzzles to me probably my favorite game of all time so damn thankful it’s finally getting the remaster it deserves

This is unequivocally the best Mario game to me. I remember being so enthralled with the dialogue, the chapters’ tonal shifts, the crazy mechanics.. Oh and the entire tournament arc with your scrappy Yoshi that changes color based on the time you spend with his egg. Dang. This game.

I’ve never cried to a game announcement before, but hearing that little jingle at the beginning just threw happier times right into my face, I can’t believe one of my favorite video games of all time is getting a remake.

It’s a completely useless remake dude. The original hasn’t disappeared. If you don’t own a GC or Wii, just emulate it.

I was clapping and *almost* teared up. I didn’t, but I felt it in my eyes.
This is literally my favorite game of all time, even among open world gaming giants. The pure child-like fantasy and comfort that you get from TTYD and Earthbound is unparallel.
I loved this game so much when I was a kid growing up and it’s one of my favorite games of all time. The music, the art style, and just about everything is great and what I’d expect for a remake. I still can’t believe this announcement happened and I can’t wait to play this absolute legend of a game!

So surreal to see this game is among so many people’s favorites. I really hope the devs finally understand our love for these unique and quirky characters and stories. This felt like a fever dream from the moment I heard those first few notes and throughout the rest of the video aha. Here’s hoping this legendary series finally goes back on its feet !
