Willem Dafoe has been in the “why tf not?” stage of his career for almost 30 years now and it’s been fun to see

Willem Dafoe and Yorgos Lanthimos is one of those dream pairings that I’m so glad we finally got.

Wonderful trailer. We get a basic premise, a vibe, a sizzle of beautiful shots, and lots of questions to be answered. 100% going to be seeing this in theatres.

    • Jesper Sichlau says:

I’m not so sure the movie will change much of that 😅

See, the way you went out of your way to say “seeing this in theatres”, instead of just “seeing this”, it makes me feel like you’re a bot. I hope I’m wrong.

    • Christopher Carpenter says:

@doko Wonderful comment. We get a basic premise, a vibe, a sizzle of beautiful shots, and lots of questions to be answered. 100% going to be reading this in the comment section.

    • Fillemon Shigwedha says:

Not for sure but it’s a contender yes. There’s dune part 2.

    • Kitty "Ariel" Pryde says:

She’s one of my favorites, and I’ve seen a lot of her work, but tbh I thought The Favourite was her best performance of all (so far!), and I was kind of bummed that La La Land overshadowed it bc it was only a couple years before, even though I love that movie, her work in The Favourite was just another level of psyche. Really excited that she’s working with Yorgos again. I think enough time has passed from La La Land that she could be back in legit.

      @Fillemon Shigwedhaand Oppenheimer

    • Sam Graef says:

I think the Academy will see this as too weird for any major categories (though they have been getting better recently), but I think it’s almost a lock for a production design nomination

    • dubudan says:

theres no way shes winning lol

  9. Olly Sombrero says:

The Favourite was a masterpiece. Emma is clearly brilliant. AGAIN. and seeing Jarrod makes me VERY happy. I can’t wait for this one.

  10. CrySparda says:
