Under Baxter’s protection, Bella is eager to learn. Hungry for the worldliness she is lacking, Bella runs off with Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo), a slick and debauched lawyer, on a whirlwind adventure across the continents. Free from the prejudices of her times, Bella grows steadfast in her purpose to stand for equality and liberation.

Willem Dafoe has been in the “why tf not?” stage of his career for almost 30 years now and it’s been fun to see
If ever an actor should have an Oscar, it’s him.
he’s the best
Yet everything he’s in absolutely slaps, he puts in 110%.
He’s been that way since the very beginning. Truly one of the best actors of our generation.

Wonderful trailer. We get a basic premise, a vibe, a sizzle of beautiful shots, and lots of questions to be answered. 100% going to be seeing this in theatres.

Emma stone is winning her second Oscar. And this movie is winning cinematography for sure.
Not for sure but it’s a contender yes. There’s dune part 2.
She’s one of my favorites, and I’ve seen a lot of her work, but tbh I thought The Favourite was her best performance of all (so far!), and I was kind of bummed that La La Land overshadowed it bc it was only a couple years before, even though I love that movie, her work in The Favourite was just another level of psyche. Really excited that she’s working with Yorgos again. I think enough time has passed from La La Land that she could be back in legit.

The Favourite was a masterpiece. Emma is clearly brilliant. AGAIN. and seeing Jarrod makes me VERY happy. I can’t wait for this one.
