I hope we get to play as both the landlord and the tenant. While the concept is certainly interesting, I would definitely not want to have to be in charge of an entire building of tenants every time I wanted to play with the pack.
Agree, and I’m worried about how many sims will be able to live on the plot. Will it still be restricted to 8?
You can be a tenant if you wish to be. You can be a property owner and live amongst the tenants, a property owner and live somewhere else. Or just a tenant if you so wish.
Since 2 of the 4 new aspirations focus around that, with one of them being a property owner and the other being a good tenant, since there’s a new fear of getting evicted.
Also 5 new traits as well. Generous, Cringe, Child of the village, Nosy and the elder exclusive trait: Wise

@Sadie this pack feels like what city living would be like if it was made in 2023. And true you can. In this one you can get evicted and snoop and break into neighbours places. This pack kinda makes city living feel redundant though… nothing really going for it now except the city world and karaoke.. since apartments have been added to other packs. And so have festivals

Yup, I totally agree with you! I really need to see more gameplay than this, otherwise this feels more like a game pack than an expansion.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Instead of updating City Living to have these features they are making us buy a whole new expansion pack? And what about Eco Life that also has apartments? They should update those to have these features for free

Knowing EA, I highly doubt it especially since it’d be a large feature that definitely would’ve been shown in this video. Plus, shops/retail spaces overlaps with get to work

I hope we get a base game update so we can build multi family lots in all of the worlds! Other than that, I’ll definitely buy this EP. It is so amazing. There is a lot of gameplay features and the B&B looks amazing as well.
it’s a new lot type so I’m pretty sure if you buy the pack you’ll be able to build multi family lots in any world but it won’t be a basegame update since that is the main feature of this pack
It can’t be a base game update. There would pretty much be no point in this pack if it was a base game update

As a Thai, this pack bring me a lot of joy. Even the song in the trailer also translate from Thai. All the culture , food , build mode look so nice. I cant wait 🥹

As someone who frequently watches Thai shows, I immediately recognized the architecture and cultural vibes. Ive been waiting for an apartments expansion for so long! Just to be able to put different families on one lot makes me happy. Can’t wait🤗

Custom apartments and more cultural representation were at the top of my wishlist, so I’m very pleased 🥰 Now we just need a hotels pack and I can die happy.

I believe this is unrelated to the household. I think its a way to rent and interact with other households paying you to live somewhere.
