Hats off to these ordinary-people-turned-soldiers. They are like my neighbors but now they have to defend their homeland. When people from all walks of life are willing to sacrifice their lives for the country, the victory is within reach for sure. Go Ukraine!!

@Voltronimus Prime No men between 16 and 60 were allowed to leave the country. That is a type of force.

I am glad that these soldiers have a place to sleep and food to eat. My father fought in WWII in Italy and in France against the German Army and lived like animals sleeping fox holes, eating with bare hands and going for days without water. He said that they fought for 30 days without taking a shower and their clothes looked like rags. I hope the Russians give up fighting in Ukraine soon and Ukraine can rebuild their country.

I have friends fighting in Kiev. They speak fluent English and are as friendly as you could know. I thought Author who was holding the NLAW was my very good friend. I worry about them, they are not violent guys, but each knows they fight for their very survival.

@Dazura The First Also the countries that voted don’t mean they are against Russia they are against the war in general, many countries voted against the US invasion of Iraq including Nato allies and to top it up Bush told them I will invade with or without you.

    • J says:

We see bravery every day from these warriors of Ukraine, from all walks of life as they fight for their country and democracy. They are willing to lay down their lives for a single ideal. While I see a multitude of citizens in ours, dividing our republic at the whim of one man. A man whose only interests are those that benefit him, family, and associates.
