@John”Suddenly Semor” is a song from the play and movie “Little Shop of Horrors”. “Suddenly Susan” is an American ’90 sitcom. “Suddenly Salad” is a brand of instant pasta salads from a box. The joke is Trixies quick witted reply in the form an alliteration. An Alliteration is when two or more words that start with the same sound are used repeatedly in a phrase or a sentence. The repeated sound creates the alliteration, not the same letter. For example, ‘tasty tacos’ is considered an alliteration, but ‘thirty typist’ is not, because ‘th’ and ‘ty’ don’t sound the same. Is there alliteration in your primary language?
