This is where Chainsaw Man goes from a good series to something truly special,this arc was the moment I fell in love with the story
It becomes peak this arc and doesn’t dip below peak until the most recent manga arc. But even that’s gone back to being peak.

@@sashalvy to each their own,but this was the first arc that got me thinking “what if things were a little bit different?” and it hooked me in the series. I don’t even know how anyone could have this as the worst arc,considering how weak the first few arcs of the story are.

@@seere8906Well, it did pretty shit sales wise last year relative to its budget. Even Bocchi outsold it by a fair bit in DVD sales, which is where a lot of the money comes from.

Finally, my favorite arc will finally be animated into a movie as I had hoped. I really hope that MAPPA actually give their animators a good and healthy schedule with good working conditions because I really want them to reach their full artistic vision for this absolutely crazy arc. Thank you MAPPA animators and staff.

I’m not a big fan of canon movies but in that case it makes sense. The part after the bomb devil arc is enough content for Season 2. With the Reze arc it would be too much to adapt

@@DerKxvIt makes sense for an arc that has a progression and a peak at the end and the movie is solely that arc. (but the arc needs to be around 2hours)
Like the last two ep of AOT should have been a movie. Movies tend to do the traditional rising climax then resolution then ends. That is why you can’t do that with volumes 7-8 of CSM. There are spikes of hype that would be great for cliffhanger on episodes.
Also it is hard for movies to be introduced because some people walk in blind to movies. JJK was great for people that went in blind in because they did some explaining to anyone that didn’t know jjk.
Season 2 will probably cover the rest of part 1 and I can’t wait to see it animated

Chainsaw Man DEFINITELY needs its own movie and this arc couldn’t be more perfect to be adapted into one. Follows a 3-act structure so well, and lets the rest of Part 1 nestle nicely for a single-cour season.
