Wish I could get so excited over something as simple as a video game. Sadly it won’t live up to the hype that people have built up in their own minds.

Normally I don’t like cinematic trailers for games (because some games that’s almost all you get, where’s the gameplay?) but Starfield has shown lots of gameplay, and this trailer really helps to establish the tone and the fantasy the game is trying to sell. Very cool trailer.
This is also a live action trailer, and those are always fun seeing how they pull it off.

That wonder, that feeling, when you look into the night sky and wonder what it would be like to explore it. If this game channels that energy, this game could be one of the most beautiful, incredible games ever created. I hope very dearly that it lives up to that hype, because I’ve been waiting for a game like that my entire life.
I feel like a kid again, watching that live action Skyrim trailer for the first time. The fantasy of humanity exploring the stars transcends anything else for me and this trailer paired with the orchestral Rocket Man cover is just packed with emotion. I cannot wait until next Friday!

it feels bad when they just take a good popular song and slow it down + make it sad. really cheap way to score a trailer. skyrims live action trailer had its own original composed theme and it was 100x better
