Does anybody get the feeling that if wind shear in the Atlantic drops, we’re gonna see at least one monster hurricane this year? Be prepared, no matter where you are!

    • Starlight Celestine says:

I’ve been having this exact feeling. The weather hasn’t been normal ANYWHERE. I live in New Jersey and this by far has been the coldest summer.

    • Sha C says:

No we’re not. Even the farmers almanac saids a low key year

    • Amy Martin says:

I was on pace for year without a summer. Well, it’s hot for sure. What that have have been referring to is the crops xant handle the swings. Near 100 one day 60 the next. Its kinds insane.

    • Sha C says:

@Amy Martin even the FA book mentioned this.
Nothing is ever black n white with anything on this planet.
I’m not concerned about about anything for at least another 2 years. However last year all my predictions came true and I was concerned of a 2 hurricanes occuring at once. One from the gulf of Florida and the other meeting on Atlantic around Orlando area. I haven’t felt any warning lately. Surpassed.

    • Luna Rose says:

Worse than Ian from last year? that’s terrifying. 😰

Thank y’all so so so much for coming and helping our neighbors in Matador. I’m from Lubbock and this news is exactly what they need!!!! Y’all are such a HUGE blessing.

    • S1000rr says:

As long as climate change isn’t real we’re ok

    • Lobster says:

I’m honestly surprised that he didn’t mention louisianas storm that happened on June 16th. We got hit with some horrible weather. Even though it was just wind and rain, it seemed like a tornado or a strong hurricane came through because some peoples houses got destroyed, and over 55,000 people in Louisiana and Texas lost power. Some still have no power.

Hey guys, you helped out my friend in Perryton buy giving him a chainsaw. I just want to say thank y’all so much! Literally you all are heroes!

My husband is the District Manager/Property Manager for the Hop-In convenience stores. They have one there in Matador, and he’s on his way there today to try and help any way that he can. We are so saddened that this happened to such a great little community where “everybody knows everybody”! We’ve heard some truly horrible stories already and I just can’t even imagine what these folks went through last night.

  6. Dave Quint says:

Thanks for all you do, Ryan! Much appreciated!

  7. Amanda S says:

Donated and shared! My mother lost her home to a tornado in January this year, so I know the devastation it can bring. I wish I could help more! If you guys ever have to come to Alabama in my neck of the woods, I’d really love to volunteer and help.

Yesterdays storm in southern Colorado was a nightmare, it was a slow moving severe thunderstorm with heavy rains alongside 2inch hail and it lasted hours. The lightning was so intense it looked like the special effects for a full barrage artillery strike in band of brothers.

    • Felafnir Elek says:

there was also a really rare twin vortex tornado near Akron, but that doesn’t seem to have caused any damage due to hitting fields

  10. Kathy Matheny says:

Donated and shared. Thanks for dealing with the nightmare of establishing a 501c3. Cutting out the red tape so storm victims can receive help immediately is astounding. Thank you to the team for all they do!
