I did”t expect Daddies to win as Ahsan already Looked so exhausted yesterday and today when walking into the arena so obvious on his countenance. I was worrying much he might get injured which happened many times before if he forced himself too much, then sadly it happened again😢 Thanks Daddies you had fought your best to make all Indonesian finals more possible. Speedy recovery 🙏

Shi Yu Qi can learn a thing or two about sportsmanship from Ahsan. Hope Ahsan will recover soon from the injury.

  3. Gao John says:

My eyes were full of tears when seeing Ahsan managed to return to the court just for the opponents to have opportunity to celebrate their final win. What a sportsmanship, what a gentleman, what a nice person! As a fan from China, I feel shamed for what Shi YiQi did in match with Kento Momota years ago.

  4. Nawal Ali says:

Poor Ahsan 🙁 I hope he’s ok. Such great sportsmanship!

  5. Charles Chan says:

52:40 the most beautiful sportsmanship moment

  6. Rick Deckard says:

The Chinese players would’ve defaulted at 14-20 rather than give their opponents the official win. Ahsan could hardly walk but decided to hobble back on court and finish the game, what a great gesture and sportsmanship. 👍👏🏆

@kevinwyf2008 I agree with you. I wouldn’t say Chinese players in general. I would simply call out Shi Yu Qi.

    • JC says:

Sportsmanship is character of a person as a human being. Even you want to bring it to national level, being honest is more important than being winner. Playing trick only helps losing the face of the country.

I knew someone would like to bring this out, haha 😛But remember, there is a huge difference here, they are both from the same country!!! Also, one person’s action does not represent the whole group, it’s so biased to say that!!!! Additionally, he has gotten the punishment, a one-year ban from the tournament, from his own association, which means what he did was totally unacceptable~~~~~~~~~ People are not gods, everyone may make mistakes. However, those who can correct themselves are still welcome ~~~ We should have a big heart~~~~~ Also I admire Ahsan very much, hope his injury is no big deal and he will recover soon!!!

Tbh I don’t put too much expectation on ahsan/setiawan eventho I really support and admire them considering they’re not young anymore, because i just enjoy watching them play as much as they enjoy being on court. I only wish they can finish the match without any injury. Besides there’s nothing they need to prove anymore. They’ve achieved a lot.. We all know that..

It’s really sad to see ahsan getting injured. Hope he recovers really soon.

I agree. I support both pairs but Alfian/Ardianto needs this title as a momentum to make their status as world #1 complete. Biar tambah legit. According to Herry IP they got all the qualities, they were so ready. While The Daddies said they just wanted to enjoy every match, every tournament. Well they have achieved all, haven’t they? I wish Babah a speedy recovery.

  8. Robert Reichel says:

10 yrs since Ahsan/Setiawan 1st All England win. They weren’t young then. Now are still well competitive against the best. Only wish is to win that Olympic gold medal.

  9. Muhammad Bisri says:
